28 Jul The Soap Co. Coffee House
A Walk Down Memory Lane…
In February 2015 it was suggested that we get in contact with a chick who was relocating her coffee shop and looking to rent space to retailers. We had never done such a thing, but were up to the challenge. The chick was Nicole and the coffee shop was The Soap Co. Coffee House, and the story just begins there.
We really did not have any idea what we were in for, but as we have been prone to do since we started this business we went ahead and made a phone call and pretended like we knew what the hell we were talking about.
A couple days after making an arrangement with her to rent a little shelf near where her customers would eventually wait in line to buy yummy sammiches and coffee drinks. We had no idea that a wee little shelf would bring us so much joy and success.
Prior to setting up show at The Soap Co. we had only sold our balms in person, and mostly to friends and family.
It was a big, scary step but it opened so many doors and led us to so many wonderful opportunities. We owe much of where we are now to where we started.
And you can still find us on that same shelf at The Soap Co. Next time you’re in Jacksonville you have to stop in and have Jami make you the world’s best iced coffee and munch on a roast beef and swiss sandwich. They are located at 66 N Mauvaisterre St. You won’t be disappointed.
